Great Jacket

I'm very pleased with the Flux jacket. I compared many other jackets and decided on the flux because it best met my needs. I wanted an insulating layer that is thin enough to layer under my shell with out looking like the michilin man. Also, I tend to run warm so breathability was also a factor. The hood works well with and without my helmut. Walking around Mammoth at night with only two thin tee-shirt weight layers I was warm with temps in the low teens. The shell fabric seems much more durable that a number of other jackets that I looked at. I have the black and the fabric has more of a matte finish as opposed to glossy. I was on the fence with this jacket vs. the Prizm and mainly went with the Flux because of the extra warmth.Fit is always an issue for me. Partly because I usually am between sizes and I'm very particular. I bought the large and it fits just about exactly the way I thought it would, I'm 5'10" and 170lbs. My chest measure 41". The shoulders fit perfect as does the torso. My Icebreaker tee and Patagonia R .5 fit perfect and my Shell fits over everything.My only issues with the large was with length which I pretty much expected. There not a big deal maybe an inch in the sleeves and one or two at the waist. Both have excellent cinches so they adjust easily. Articulated elbows would be nice but i know I'm picky.Overall, considering fit, warmth, price etc. the Flux is a great jacket and I'm very happy with it. The people at backcountry were very helpful and a great resource for comparing jackets.
