Ranked #1386 - Alpine Skiing

I scored these puppies off of BC's Tramdock site. :)
By far the best all-mtn ski I have ever ridden (and I've ridden a few dozen). I've skied them @ 8 times so far and have not even begun to find their limits. They command respect from piles of Eastern crud, hold an edge on ice like a figure skate, and simply do not chatter--at least at speeds of up to 30-35 (as far as I have pushed them so far).
It's a beefy ski so if you need to do more than a few very tight jump turns back to back in a narrow spot, you better be strong.
Only, and I mean only downside, is that my 184s are only passable in the bumps.
I have Volkl EXP 724s, same length, and can tear up the bumps vs the AC50s. But if you want a ski that won't let you down in any other condition the AC50 is your board.
Simply the best--even at near retail prices.

I'm 56 and got these skies and also love them. Fast and carve like no tomarrow. You do have to stay focused. they will ski you. used them in whistler and could go anywhere you wanyed to ski them. Highly recomend them.

I'm 6'3" 220 lbs. 50 yr old aging, but still aggressive skier. I bought a set of these last year and they made me feel 19 again. I ski the 185s and they are very stable at up to any speed you can handle. I skied them at A-Basin in knee deep powder last year and they were a blast. Ice? No problem. 'Handles it like a hockey skate. Two years ago, I was skiing my K2 Mod X Pro 195s with my 20 year old very athletic son, and thought I was loosing it, since I couldn't keep up with him. No more on my AC 50s. They have the need for speed. Put the AC 50s on their edge and they carve turns like no other ski, including my old K2 710 slalom skis. The bottom line is that I am really glad I bought them and would recommend them to any skier, intermediate level and above.
