Got these shoes in 11 1/2 an my normal shoe size is 12 1/2 or 13. They fit very snug but after the first hour of climbing they start to feel very tight, but relief was as easy as lossening the velcro straps. The padded tounge makes them very comfy during climbing. The toe box isnt as strong as I would normally like for gym climbing and the edges didnt seem to grab on to the smaller foot holds in the gym as I would have liked. Outdoors the shoes are great, I never worry about going through the rubber to fast as all you have to do is simply send them back to madrock an they put new rubber on them most the time at no charge. (4 set of madrocks sent in, only paid for shipping, no issues otherwise)Heel hooking isnt as easy as it is with some of their new shoes i.e. ConCept, ConFlict, Demon or Mugen Tech. But those shoes are also more oriented towards -'s and overhangs. The shoes smeared well on the rock faces in colorado, and I had no problem keeping my footing during any accents. Don't really recommend for crack climbing as there is no rubber on the top of the shoe an I don't think the material would last long under the friction.
I would recomend these shoes for anyone focused on outdoor sport climbing who spends a few days a week climbing and is going to be putting some hours and accents on them.
