I've only used this bag for one trip, but I love it so far. I live in NC and I had to get a bag to check my board for a trip out west. I was extremely happy with how much of my gear I was able to fit in. I'm pretty small, so my board is only 141 and boots are size 7 (women's). I was able to fit both of my boots into one boot pocket fairly comfortably, and fit my helmet (with gloves and goggles stuffed inside) into the other boot pocket. In the big pocket I fit my board with bindings, and was also able to squeeze in pants and jacket. It was very convenient to get all of my gear into one bag so my suitcase was left for just clothes. It was still only about 25lbs, well under the 50lb limit for checked items.
