Gear Review
disappointing for Patagonia
By Chris Alef
January 12, 2010
Patagonia is my outdoor brand. I have so many piece of Patagonia, I've lost count. My life moto is "he who dies with the most Patagonia wins." As such, with great disappointment, I must say that I cannot recommend this product.
I found the gloves true to size and warm. However I have a number of gripes:
1. They aren't cut to fit a hand. Most good gloves aren't two flat pieces of fabric sewn together in the shape of a cartoon hand. The finger curve and the back of the body has volume. These are cartoon hand gloves.
2. Because of the poor cut, I have no dexterity in these gloves. I have better ski gloves for manipulating things.
3. These gloves don't breathe. I get sweaty hands, which means they eventually get cold.
