The Boat Show

Ranked #1228 - Big Mountain Freeride Skis
January 10, 2010
Going on second season with these beasts. LOVE THEM. They are not for average all mtn. skier. I was put on big skis as a young kid by my big bro and will never go small. I also weigh 200 lbs, and have found, my weight over powers smaller skis. I ski Steamboat 100+ a season and it might not be the best mountain for big skis, but they are the perfect ski for the Champagne Powder. Massive wide softer tip, yet narrow stiffer tips (for such a big ski) making turning a breeze. They allow me to rip tight tree lines and tear through bumps better then my center mounted 188 Guns. For the few skiers out there looking for that long stick, and like fast, highspeed lines, I recommend this ski. I also own Shoguns and they are the best all around ski.
