Unacceptable lacing system

The boots are warm, waterproof, and have seen me through several winter hiking seasons in the White Mountains. This is after multiple trips to the shoe repair guy who has systematically replaced each of the metal eyes as they pop out with absolutely minimal pressure. After the fifth one has popped out, I have now given up. They can't be trusted to not break when you tie them. Ridiculous.
An otherwise great boot, the worthless eyelet system completely ruins them.
