Solid 4 stars, don't know if a 5 star bag exists

Title pretty much says it all. Like all Timbuk2 products, great quality, reasonable price & style.

I have the black version, and though a little extra color wouldn't hurt, the gray flap at least breaks up the sea of black, and the pack has an overall clean, modern aesthetic to it.

The laptop pocket easily gobbles up my 15" Mac and doesnt break a sweat with my bulky 15" HP I have at work (17" Macbook doesnt not fit). Really appreciate that the laptop pocket is accessible without opening up the whole bag, but do wish there were zippers to access the laptop pocket on both sides of the bag cause im a lefty... but a great feature especially at the airport security line or in a meeting.

Front pocket holds a good amount of gear, and has a nice little zipper pocket and pen organizer, wish their was a clip instead of velcro to secure the pocket... and maybe a zipper for the whole pocket for a little extra city/mass transit security.

Interior is one big void, I dig that. Hold a good amount of gear, binders, clothes, book, what have you.

Two more bonus points for the built in bottle opener and the compression straps on the side. The compression straps do a great job of compressing the bag down when its not completely full, as well as double as jacket holder, and additional water bottle (nalgene, etc) holder.

No complaints, just wished it had some backventing, a little more waterproofing, and maybe a little less velco.

Solid bag overall. Would easily recommend it.
