SUPER lightweight, and good but not outstanding warmth for the weight. (There are some cold spots, and you will be cold in 50-degree slightly windy weather unless you are being quite active.)This jacket has a somewhat trim, longer fit. (The Large size is good for a 6', 178-lb, long-armed (35") body with plenty of length to spare in the sleeves (don't you love Marmot?!?)).I got the gargoyle grey after I returned a Marmot Zeus in the same color because I was allergic to the down. I would have to say the gargoyle grey fabric on the Baffin is shiny/plasticy/synthetic in comparison. It looks like a Hefty Steel-Sak garbage bag, and there is nothing hip or attractive about the greenish-yellow "accent color" that looks like a garbage bag tie and cements the trash-bag look. The fabric (which looks like sleeping bag fabric) gets crushed/wrinkled quickly and doesn't look sharp. Maybe that's the flipside of it being so lightweight. My dig on the gargoyle grey color is not at all true for the Marmot Zeus... That jacket looked gRRReat in gargoyle and the green was a very pleasing accent. Anyway, color aside it's still a nice jacket and very lightweight, not bulky. It is not nearly as warm as the Zeus.
