Bad Luck??

By Ranked #437 - Cross Country Skiing January 6, 2010

The first time I used the boot one of the plastic lace eyelets snapped in half, I returned them only to be told that the only replacement available was a new model ($20 more, ouch!), after receiving the replacement pair I compared them with the original pair and found exactly no difference - zip, nada, go figure....

I have had two problems with eyelets breaking on these boots. Once while trying on a pair in the store, and once after purchase. The store had a full return policy, so I decided to chalk the first breakage up to bad luck and take my chances. After one use, the eyelet of the pair I bought broke off. This certainly doesn't inspire me to spend more money with the same company for a "nicer" pair.
