'Go to' jacket

Ranked #1946 - Men's Fleece Jackets

This is my grab-n-go jacket. You know when you get the one jacket you find yourself reaching for all the time? The lining slides over any other shirt or fleece so you don't have that "fleece-on-fleece" struggle like with a lot of linings. Just the right warm, but never sweaty. It's in no way going to shed precip, so it's mainly for around town, but ya gotta get around town, right? Pretty much a no frills jacket, only the outer chest pocket, but for whatever reason, even though I have 52 jackets (yeah, the wife counted the other day...like I got some kinda problem?) this is the one I find myself looking for when I head out the door.

This is an interesting jacket. It is what I would call mid-weight, like a 200 Polarfleece. But, the fleece is patterned and I suspect it will pill less or not at all. It is handsome looking and very comfortable. I like the soft pocket and collar material. The sleeves seem 2" too long (I am wearing an XL and wear a 35" shirt sleeve), but I just push them up my arm a little and they are ok. I suspect that might be a good thing when powder skiing - fleece, gauntlet glove, shell. The front is lined for wind stopping, and it works to some degree. I bought an OR down jacket to wear under my Koven Plus on really cold New England lift served ski days.
