Spare Tire or Upgrade Package

With cable bindings like Black Diamond and G3, it's pretty much guaranteed that you will break something at some point. Seeing as you don't do much with your skis when you aren't skiing, it's almost certain that you will have an equipment malfunction while in use. Bindings are necessary, as are spare parts.This backcountry kit is like bringing a spare tire on a road trip: It's just a good precaution.I have also used this kit to upgrade a pair of used 03 binders I picked up, which had failed heel assemblies. I even got climbing wires for them! The wider cable routing on the 03 toe box gave less lateral movement, too.Still, I'd rather ski Hammerheads.
