These are great for what they are intended to do. They are very warm and surprised me with awesome dexterity. I have worn them down to -5 deg F. Your hands will start to get cold if you are not moving. Unlike another review says, these gloves will not keep your hands warm on Everest! You will definitely loose all of your fingers. However, I too have seen some sort of Hestra Mitt on the summit of Everest on the "Everest: Beyond the Limit" show. The liner that it comes with is nice, but would be nicer if it could be used on its own. You can purchase Merino wool and Polartec Power Dry replacement liners to go with the glove if you prefer.
