Worth persevering

I first bought a size 9 in these shoes, and they were extremely difficult to put on, as the sides are very rigid and encase your foot once on. I then bought a size 9.5 and although they are firm to put on, they accommodate my wide foot and have support for my high arches. The first few times I wore them to work in summer (so no socks or stockings) I put bandaids on my heels as the shoes were quite stiff, but the shoes are softening now. They are a great shoe if you need to stand for work, but want something a bit smarter. I take a size 9 in a Sydney II, but definitely needed a 9.5 or even a 10 in this shoe.
