Gear Review
Great pack, one gripe
By Mike Merrill

Everyone has covered off the pro's on this pack, so I'll skip all that. It's a great pack, but I have one gripe. The upper female connector for the compression strap that is all the way to the side of the pack stick me in the shoulder when I wear it. For ahwile I couldn't figure out what the female connectors were for, but after tooling around it looks like they are used for tight compression of the pack with a small load.
I've never compressed the pack that small, so I'm thinking I might either take em off, or return the pack for a smaller one and see if they still poke me.

Are these extra connectors removable? Looks like they might clip out somehow, but don't want to break it..
