I like this pack. I've used it to carry lunch, rain coats, and a few other things on some day hikes. The main reason I bought the pack was for the large resevoir, which is great. My one complaint is that the strap the goes over the chest is too high up and sometimes feels like it is choking me on my neck. The chest strap is not adjustable up or down the pack. Other than that problem, which I can live with, I like the pack
