Liners are critical

Wear them under the Smartwool midweight hikers, and you will increase wicking, and reduce friction between your foot and your boot, especially in the heel area. Therefore, less blisters and more enjoyment. Also, you can wear them everyday in the summer by themselves. I have even worn them as dress socks.
