These are the tele binding by which all others are compared and even with the advent of NTN, people are still drawn to powerful 75mm setups like a T-Race/Hammerhead for unparalleled (pun intended) control and power. I started out on hammerheads myself, and always skied them in at #4 for hardpack and #3 for bumps and powder. I switched to BDO1's a couple season's back for better touring, but after skiing on some demo HH's last year, I've decided to make the switch back for resort skiing - power and lateral control is worth the lack of a tour mode.
