Not that great

I bought these off this website for my boyfriend after reading the raving reviews here. The gloves look nice, and the grippers seem to be very useful. However, the material has started fraying on his palm by his thumb after only 6 uses or so.

The biggest complaint, however, is that they do not keep his fingers warm. We both live in Chicago, and he has used these half a dozen times already. One day, he got back from walking a block to and from the grocery store, took his hand out of his glove and touched my face with it, and his fingers were icy cold.

I am beginning to suspect that the people who wrote reviews here saying that this glove is very warm (thanks for sharing your experience, by the way) must have larger hands or something. Maybe those of us with tiny hands are just doomed to always have cold fingers in gloves because our hands don't generate enough warmth...maybe we are doomed to have to wear big ski gloves when others can get by wearing these sleek looking gloves.
