Men's Mountain Hardwear Stance Pants (08)

The 08 stance pants are of pretty qood quality and at $80 you can't go wrong, but I would not suggest them for snowboarding. They are full zip ups, the belt buckle is kind that snaps and unsnaps with a hook, not the ones with a button or double button, and you can feel the metal heaviness of the zippers near the mid thighs because of the width of the legs. These pants are somewhat straight legged like a pair of jeans and would not do well for a snowboarder who likes some sag in the crotch and legs. But, I think they would be awesome for mountaineering or maybe even snowshoeing, again if you prefer narrower legs. The quality is the same as the North Face Freedom pants but these are not loose fitting when compared to the Freedom pants.
