Quality 1st Gen Glove
By Krandon Belly
Ranked #1247 - Ski Gloves
December 15, 2009
Wore these for some long ski days in Colorado and they performed very well. I really like how the pseudo-gauntlet construction locks out the snow but keeps from getting caught on stuff, filled with powder, or looking like a cartoon villain. The zipper makes them easy to get on/off too. Warm and waterproof with burly construction that kinda reminds me of a hockey glove.
There's room for improvement on the dexterity: a seam runs down the middle of each fingertip, and the glove's taking a bit to break in. Also, the merino lining is a towel-like knit that adds warmth but tears up your cuticles (boo hoo a hangnail)
~Made in China (the tag said it came with a hood & had a powderskirt!)
Great cold weather glove overall, just don't try to pick your nose with it
