I returned the jacket because I was always too cold in it during Fall weather with a wind. Its thin and cold. Unless you super layer up under it.

This review is helpful because it helps you know which version of Power Shield this jacket is made from. That said, I'll point out that there's "thickness" and then there's "warmth", and they correlate perfectly. I have several garments (from different gear manufacturers) of this material . Yes, this version of Power Shield *is* on the thinner side with a compact fleece lining, but is much warmer than other fabrics of the same weight. It also blocks virtually all wind, just like Polartec claims. This also helps it feel warm. So, if you're looking for a jacket to wear for low energy activities (errands, walking to work, etc) without layering in very low temps, this one isn't warm enough. However, if you're going to layer above or below it's very nice. Plus, on it's own it's excellent for a wide range of temps, down to about 40.
