McMurdo=waste of money

By Ranked #1665 - Men's Down Jackets December 14, 2009

Don't waste your money of this coat if you need extreme cold protection. I had another chance to wear one of these things outside today at -42.
Junk. Get a Canada Goose and be done with it.

Unfortunately not everyone can afford to spend $600+ dollars on a down coat.... The McMurdo is not a true "extreme weather" parka, to be sure, but for a lot of people who live in relatively cold climates (-20s and above), this coat would be adequate.

I agree. Mc Murdo is great for urban adventures, but no match for serious expeditions and survival. Canada Goose would be the way to go.
