Worth the hype

These pants are a great addition to anybody's gear. I am a trim 165 lb.s and 5'10. I went with the medium but could have chosen the small too. They are a little long but fit over a pair of thick-soled Asolo's well. What I love the most about them is the versatility. They are very light weight and breathable but still shed a chilly wind. Add a baselayer and you're ready for almost anything. The features of the pant are the icing on the cake. The built in belt is tough and easily adjustable. Quick drain pockets and easy drying make a dip in the river an easy decision. My favorite is the hidden elastic at the ankle, which makes them easy to roll up and they stay put. Much easier then worrying about a busted zipper on a convertable pant. Note: the squeeze tightener is a little hard to find. It's covered in its pocket. If you're looking for your first pair of hiking/climbing pants, you can't go wrong with these. These are my first pair but won't be my last.
