I bought these in size 8 for my six year old boy and they are way too big. Maybe he can wear them next year. They don't have a zip fly, just elastic waist. They are more purble than brown. I expected mahogony to be brown. I don't think they have any pockets. They seem more for toddlers than grade schoolers.
