Ranked #522 - Women's Synthetic Insulation Jackets
December 7, 2009
I've ordered the last "river blue" one in XS (no S left), so I was in doubt about the fit until it arrived - I am Taiwanese and 5'2'' small. This jacket is really tight but perfect for my figure (94 lbs) - i can even put a thin fleece jacket underneath, and i haven't been cold with this so far (hasn't been really cold yet though). Both sides, the titanium grey and the river blue have a great design, i love both - the dark grey one is more unobtrusive but elegant, the blue one is more fanciful. As to water-proofness, i think, "water-resistant" hits home. The only downside that i can find is that there is no available hard shell for this jacket. i asked back country, and there is none :-( by the way, thank you very much for backcountry's great customer service which in my case means a lot of chat sessions and patience...
