Ranked #193 - Men's Synthetic Insulation Jackets

Just came back from Bishop trip and it just happened to be what the locals call "January weather" the low was 9 degrees. Crazy arctic winds were blowing and I felt fine. Jacket worked well. Didn't do any belaying which didn't matter because it does not have the belay pass thru pocket. Bummer cuz it was the selling point for me. That is the only thing that is making me consider returning it and trying maybe a high down fill perhaps. This jacket works well in 30-40 degrees as an outer layer though. Just thought i was getting the belay aspect.

I am starting to feel the same way of the fit myself. I just purchased a softshell and it is too big to go underneath it. It is a good jacket, but I may try a hoodless jacket since softshell has a hood.

I was bummed to find the absence of the same described pocket. Wack. Not a huge fan of the fit either.
