Ranked #777 - Men's Softshell Jackets
December 2, 2009
In about any weather above freezing, when I'm moving hard (like rock climbing or cycling) I will burn up in any sort of fleece lined jacket.
Most "soft shells" are this and I find them absolutely useless for this activity. They're heavy and too warm while moving and not warm enough otherwise.
This jacket fits tightly, cuts the wind and has a hood (which barely fits over a helmet too!)
And its super durable and I won't destroy it.
I plan on ski touring in it as soon as a bit more white stuff falls.
