Big Agnes Mine Mountain Series Tent Footprint

Item #BAG0163 | 0 in Stock
5 Star Rating

Its a footprint and yes its necessary

By Ranked #667 - Tents November 28, 2009

You need a footprint with any tent. Silly if you don't factor the cost of the footprint into the total cost of the tent. In order to protect your tent from the jagged earth underneath you must buy a footprint that is designed for your tent. However, you can buy a generic tarp and use that instead, but the footprint weighs less and is custom tailored to your specific tent, and stays tethered with the tent stakes. A must have piece gear.

The description is kind of confusing because it says that it fits the dimensions of the 2 person and 3 person tent which obviously is not possible. This footprint is definitely for the 3 person tent. The 1 in stock is the one that I had to return because none of the customer service reps could actually confirm that it wouldn't fit the the 2 person.
