Ranked #976 - Winter Packs

title "heli-pro" is misleading. there is a specialty location for an ice axe, camera and goggle but not for a probe, shovel (acceptable space) or saw. Don't know about anyone else, but if I was fly'n on a heli, I would care more about quick access to shovel/probe than axe or camera.. sillyness, as nothing dlx about it.

There's a nice pocket for your shovel blade and the strap on the side works great for your handle, and the inside is perfect for your probes. If you have a pack that you can get your probes out of without taking your pack off you have an incredible pack...but this is a great pack for your basic backcountry needs. Very DLX.

Aren't the two fabric straps on the right side, with the clip on the bottom intended for a probe? Also, the only real difference I see between this and the other Dakine bags is that the DLX doesn't have a flab on the inside pocket for the shovel, but it would surely fit a shovel.
