I love my e+LITE. I was trying to shead some weight on my pack, i got rid of my tikka and got an e+LITE. Its a little harder to night hike with but i found that most of the time a head lamp is used for reading or walking back and forth to the campfire or the john so there is no need to cary a monster headlamp that is so bright you can see space. The e+LITE is under an oz. with batteries and can do everything that the bigger guys can. Remember backpacking is the onily sport were you can brag about how little things are.
