Ranked #587 - Backcountry Snowboarding
November 14, 2009
I've had the pack for about 6 months now. I bought it May, so haven't had a chance to actually let it see snow...yet. As for casual use, the 1000cu is obviously on the smaller side, yet, it can easily fit a twelve case of beer, cans or bottles. It also (just) fits my 15 inch laptop in a small case and slides nicely under the seats on airlines. Overall, its pretty comfortable, the zippers are well constructed and the sunglasses and goggle pockets are really useful. If your looking for something to hold more than a jacket and some snacks, I'd go with a heli pro 20L or Pro 2 1600cu. I'd give it 4/5 because the zippers, while being well built, are not terribly water resitant.
