Very roomy! Plenty of room for gear and air mattress. There was a bad storm the first time I use it and everything stayed dry. I would highly recommend this tent. It was also easily put up and taken down. I always have trouble fitting the tent back in the bag, but this tent comes with a roomy duffle that easily fits the tent and all the poles
