Where's the HD?...More velcro?

This is an ok little camera but where's the HD? I mean, cmon! In addition to that the software is not compatible with my computer. I was recommended a download on line and that one sucks as well. I do like all the options for attachment that come with it. The remote leaves a lot to be desired, they can't even supply enough velcro to fit over a ski jacket. The processor is huge and is attached to the lens by an incredibly stiff cable. Don't buy those packages from B&H Camera that include the cheap Mountainsmith fanny pack, it barely holds the processor. Seek other options. I have the attachment that goes with goggles. It took a bit of tweaking but it's working ok. I would probably wait for a while to see if VIO is going to turn out an HD camera if you want to spend this much money.

They must have gave in... this is their reply now: "Not yet The POV.1.5 does not shoot in HD, but at its highest settings, it records at 720 x 480, which is NTSC (USA) broadcast quality. HD is another feature we will explore in future product iterations." Sounds like they might be coming around.

No HD cam anytime soon. According to VIO. http://www.vio-pov.com/index.php "We have no plans to make a HD cam at this time, or anytime soon" Was their reply to that qustion.

You're right - forget about the fanny pack. The new V.I.O Chest Harness is on it's way and will be available early next week, so check back Monday!
