Patagonia Down Sweater

Ranked #720 - Men's Down Jackets
November 13, 2009
Pros:
Very light.
Packs well.
Warm with t-shirt to about 5C.
Adj. hood.
High collar.
Comfortable.
Somewhat water repellant
Cons:
Durablity?
Best overall down sweater. The hood is a huge advantage in staying warm. One real world downside is that it is comfortable enough to wear on many days without an outer layer. The fabric extrenally is very light and there is not much that won't put a tear in it. Hard to fault the product though. If it were tougher it would weigh more and that is not the purpose. Just wrote it as information for people who know they are hard on clothes.
