The North Face Hedgehog GTX XCR Shoe - Men's

Item #TNF2871 | 272 in Stock

OK shoe if waterproof not critical

By Ranked #845 - Men's Hiking Shoes November 12, 2009

Bought a pair almost 1 year ago so I've had a chance to check them out. I had to order 1/2 size up but found the shoe to be comfortable. They are easy to run in. I mostly use them to walk/run with the dog on dirt trails, pavement and wet/dry grass. Traction is great except on hard wet surfaces such as large rocks. The tread doesn't release debris very easily either. My biggest complaints are that the laces are way too long and usually require a double knot to stay tied/out of the way and that the shoe is no longer waterproof. After an hour in wet grass the front of my socks are very wet. I was hoping for better from North Face.
