This is a perfectly-sized pack for a day hike or a day at the crags. It has plenty of gear loops and an integrated rainfly for rainy days. The side pockets can fit 1L Nalgene bottles and all of the straps are highly adjustable. I'm planning on using this as a climbing pack for multi-pitch routes, as well. The only negative aspect of this pack is the lack of interior pockets (there is only a bladder pouch).
