I have the 08 model of this jacket, but they are darn near the same. It is awesome! It is very lightweight, I never feel like a marshmallow and I still look cute in it. I live in Utah now, but I am from Alaska. I took this baby up there last January and it was about 30-40 below zero and my core was nice and toasty! This is great for taking the dogs for walks in the snow, I can move around easily in it and it does not weigh me down. This jacket kept me COMPLETELY dry in one of the worst thunderstorms we had this fall, I was stuck outside volunteering all day and the rain never penetrated it. Great for extreme things like Alaskan winters, skiing/snowboarding, or mild things like walks and getting to and from your vehicle!
Hopefully they worked on the zipper in the 09 one though, it is kind of hard sometimes, but not enough of an inconvenience that I don't still love the jacket!
