I'm 5'5 and around 135lbs. I ordered a small and it fits well. I can wear light sweaters underneath it and it isn't too tight. This jacket is light enough to wear in my office when it's cold in the morning but also wear out walking around town or in the woods (so far at temperatures as low as 50 degrees Fahrenheit).
I've never owed a fleece before, so I can't compare it to other fleece products, but I have not yet been disappointed by this product.
