I've been using it for about three years. It's been with me on over 200+ days of army duty, every hiking and off-road trips including technical work in all of those settings - and has performed flawlessly.
3 modes of light+ flasher, and with the added red tinted lens cover you basically get 8 modes in one.
Red light and the lamp's camo color are very useful for army and covert work when a low signature light is needed both for your own night sight and due to outside attention.
