I got this on sale for about 2/3rds off -- would never pay full price for this piece. 6'4", 200 lbs, XL fits very nice -- good sleeve length and a little bit fitted in the body.
Not a technical piece at all, it has a very loose knit to it. If you hold it up, you can see light through weave, so it is not windproof in the least.
I wouldn't bother taking it out in the backwoods; it is just not technical enough to fill any niche. I would choose a patagonia R2 or something similar to at least get some wind/water resistance. The covert would just be added weight. I use this more for just kicking around town or the house on cool, windless days.
I guess if you gotta have the name and can get one on sale, great....but I wouldn't expect the covert to do too much.
