An upgrade of the classic Gamma MX

Ok. So here's the deal. I have owned a Gamma MX for several years now (I have owned three). I was skeptical when Arc'teryx decided to revamp their classic softshell. I decided to try it out and I never thought they could improve this jacket, but I was wrong. Every feature they changed for this jacket made it better. It is a half inch longer in the body, which makes it a much better fit. The old rubber/plastic wind flap of the old version always rubbed on my neck and they replaced the upper portion of the wind flap with a soft fleece backed fabric (perfect). The cuffs of the past version tended to stretch and not regain their elasticity. Now the cuffs are made of a more stretchy fabric and retain their retention. I really like the new waist drawcord of the new version as well. Instead of adjusting them in the front pockets, which requires taking off your gloves, they are now in the typical place on the sides where you can reach and adjust with gloves on. The attention to detail and quality of this jacket is as good as ever. This is definitely an upgrade from the previous version.
