good fitting pants- true to size and a comfy, somewhat relaxed, but not baggy, fit; some other brands I've tried like TNF and MH fit me too snugly for hiking. I'm a 32-33W, 32L and a medium is perfect for me. I had several older ex officio hiking pants that I wore out and replaced with these. The model I have may be one prior to these as mine have only one cargo pocket. Mine have a built in mesh brief which I cut out and also a mesh "vent" at the knee which I find unnecessary, but whatever. I realize these are supposed to be more for on-water use but I use them for hiking because ex officio doesn't seem to make a non-convertible hiking pant anymore like what I had. Love the fabric on these- dries super fast, good in temps down to ~30F if you're moving, yet I don't get too hot at higher temps like 70F in them.
