We bought this jacket hoping it would work as a shell to layer, but it just didn't have the weight needed for that application. Almost kept this one because it was such a nice jacket, but it is definitely for spring/summer and maybe fall rain. Looks really sharp! We needed something more durable to use in the winter, and opted for a different jacket. Great jacket as a windbreaker/rain coat.

This is a nice, lightweight, breathable rain shell. I bought an XS for my 5 yr old son, and it fits great with plenty of growing room. It looks great too.
