Ranked #2007 - Sleeping Bags
October 10, 2009
i borrowed a friend's for a backpack trip to lassen and despite my initial doubts at shaking it out, i was impressed with this bag. i'm a minimalist packer with a minimalist amount of body fat and the tiny pack-down size plus warmth appealed to me, so i looked online, more than certain it was going to way overpriced. happily, i found the tag more than reasonable, and now i own one:)
the only complaints i have are that if i turn over in my sleep it tends to turn with me, but this is a typical problem with any mummy bag. anyone who likes a lot of fluff will be disappointed, but if you want a lightweight three-season bag that leaves room inside your pack for other things, this is it. lafuma beats out marmot and patagonia on price any day.
