Great ski, "Difficult mount?"

I love these skis! They handle pretty much everything. 5'0 120# strong skier- got the 156 cm mounted with marker dukes. This ski floats in powder (admittedly, pretty much anything over 85 will for someone my size,) powers through crud, holds an edge well on groomers, but will kick your butt if you aren't forward. Only thing I would warn about is that the ski is thin, so if your shop isn't careful, they WILL dimple the bottoms (or drill through the base) if they're not paying attention to screw length. So, I'm on my second pair after my shop replaced my first set at the end of the season. Not really a down side as new skis 2 yrs in a row, but not all shops will be as responsible when they screw up.

Write your comment here...Funny you should mention this.......I have a pair of Volkl Bridges 169 that I put Black Diamond 02 Tele bindings on.....same thing happened to me. I freaked! My ski tech calmed me down and repaired it, and said it's really not as bad as you think......he is an ex racer dude, and apparently this is a common occurance and is more cosmetic than physical......This year I am getting the Aura 170 and putting Hammerhead tele bindings on.....
