Ranked #502 - Daypacks - Technical
October 1, 2009
I love, love, love this backpack.
I looked a long time for a women's pack that offered the features I was looking for- namely pockets in a lightweight women's frame. (note: I am petite- 5'3" I did have to tighten the straps quite a bit, but the pack fit great!!)
I am a volunteer for our county's search and rescue group, and so I need places to stash medical equipment and this pack has it.
One roomy main section, a good sized lower pocket holds all my medical stuff, then there are two side and two top pockets, two mesh pockets (for water bottles or whatever) a little front hip-belt pocket and hydration pack friendly. (side note they don't tell you in the description- there is a zippered pocket at the top, right behind your head, so you can reach up, unzip it while walking along- and pull out- whatever (I stuck my glasses in there, nice and secure/ easy access).
I just took this pack up to the top of Half Dome yesterday and it performed great. The many straps make adjusting a breeze (as one takes off or puts on layers).
It's a great day pack!!!
