This ski blows my mind! For the off piste shredder looking to buy one ski this season that does it all, this really is the fat-rockered ski you want! I've been impressed with the way the Katana holds and carves fluidly on ice and windpack, and completely rally's in Powder. This ski is on the stiff side, so although you can finesse it, there are times where it demands aggressiveness. The slightly rockered shape of this new Katana has been a sweet improvement over past Volkl Katana's... which I thought, was as good as it gets!

I skied the 2010 190cm Katana yesterday, and it didn't feel much different than last years. I've been skiing some rockered skis, and it doesn't feel like this one has much at all

Is it really different from last year's model? How much of a rocker does it really have?
