Love it or hate it

There seem to be two schools of thought about the Petzl Snoscopic; folks either love it or hate it. I love it. It's billed as being aimed at moderate trekking use where you might want a light ice axe. Dunno about that. I use it for dlimbing and skiing the Colorado 14ers. I have yet to fall, but on big steeps but I sure feel better skiing with my Snoscopic in one hand in case I have to self-arrest.
