Definitely buy a size smaller..

I'm on my second pair because I like them so much. I took my old pair and hiked in the backcountry of the Narrows in Zion National Park and they held up great, despite being submerged 80% of the time.
I agree with the other reviewers that you should definitely buy a half size smaller than you'd normally wear (I wear an 11 but got the 10.5 and it fits perfectly).
